Washington, Sept 17: Actress Keira Knightely failed to overcome her habit of breaking important props while filming, for she recently broke two crucial items on the set of period drama ‘Atonement’.

The 22-year-old actress, who faces difficulty in keeping film props intact, broke an exclusively designed Chanel necklace and a lighter while filming ‘Atonement’.

"I was wearing a Chanel necklace and it got stuck,” Contactmusic quoted Knightely, as saying.

"No one could budge it. We had to phone Chanel to ask if we could just break it. By this time the filming had come to a complete standstill.

"I also had to light a cigarette and lighters always break for me on film sets. At this particular moment the lighter had broken for about the millionth time so I'm actually going 'F**k, F**k,F**k,'" she added. (With Inputs from ANI)
