Daley BlindLondon, Jan 15 : Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind has a really humble side to his nature, and has left the club's supporters shocked by answering all his fan mail personally.

The 14 million-pound midfielder reportedly gets dozens of letters a week from across the globe and reads each one and replies with a signed photo in a hand-written envelope .

A source revealed that Blind takes his responsibility to fans very seriously, adding that some players don't get round to taking their letters home or ask someone in the office to reply to a few, the Mirror reported.

According to BBC, Valls said that the gunmen who killed 17 people in Paris last week wanted to destroy the "spirit of France" but they had failed.

His statements came after the funeral of the seven of the people who died in last week's massacre in the French capital.

David CameronLondon, Jan 13 : Online messaging services like Whatsapp and Snapchat may face a ban in Britain as Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to introduce a slew of legislations that would deny terrorists a "safe space" to communicate online in the aftermath of a series of terror attacks in France.

The proposed legislation would provide a new legal framework that will authorize British intelligence agencies to crack the communications of terror suspects if there was specific intelligence of an imminent attack.

Cameron asked, "Are we going to allow a means of communications where it simply is not possible to do that?" He responded by saying: "no, we must not," reported The Guardian."

Balotelli's agent rejects talk of Italian leaving for Juventus this month

YouTube, Twitter accounts of U.S. Central Command hacked by ISLondon, Jan 13 - The YouTube and Twitter handles of the United States Central Command (Centcom) have been hacked by a group that claims to belong to the Islamic State (IS) as the accounts were suspended for a few hours.

According to BBC, a message on Centcoms's Twitter feed addressed American soldiers saying they were "coming". The message was signed by the Islamic State.

There were some internal military documents that appeared in the Centcom Twitter feed as well.

Centcom said that the issue was "cyber vandalism" but not a serious data breach.

170 million-yr-old bones of Loch Ness monster's relative found in Scotland

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh discovered a new species of 14-foot long sea monster, which bares more than a passing resemblance to Scotland's most famous mythical beast, the Daily Express reported.

Fossil remains extracted from Skye throughout the past 50 years were studied, a number of which were identified as ichthyosaurs and one previously unknown species was found.

YouTube set to add support for '360-degree videos'

According to Gizmodo, it will allow users to upload videos taken with the special 360-degree cameras that are on their way into the market and will probably make use of virtual reality headsets, the Independent reported.

Many of those take the videos in different ways and with different results and YouTube's challenge was getting all of those different kinds of video to work on the site.

However, it's unclear whether the videos will be viewable for anyone using a computer, or if they will require a virtual reality headset to look around the scene.

Developed by Israeli start-up, Storedot, the device is capable of recharging phone batteries about 100 times faster than at present, reported the BBC.

The company had demonstrated a similar feat about eight months ago and involved a battery many times thicker than the handset itself and an outsized charger , making the gadget impractical for real-world use. However, the charging dock showcased in Las Vegas is pretty slim and the phone involved is no bigger than normal too.

2015 to be 'one second longer' due to Earth's slow rotation

However, it is feared the 'leap second' added at midday on June 30 by scientists at the International Earth Rotation Service in Paris could spark internet crashes, the Mirror reported.

According to scientists, Earth's rotation is gradually slowing by around two thousandths of a second per day and when the last leap second was added in 2012, Mozilla, Reddit, LinkedIn and scores of other sites crashed.

McLaren, Honda inquire ruling preventing them from improving engine during 2015 F1 season

McLaren HondaLondon, Jan 06 : Formula One team McLaren and new engine partner Honda inquired into a ruling that prevents them from improving their engine during the 2015 season but allows their rivals to do so and it has left the latter annoyed.

This comes on the heels of the discovery of a loophole and subsequent clarification of the rules by Formula One's governing body, the FIA.

McLaren-Honda have been in contact with the FIA about the issue but said that it would not comment further for now, as the situation arose because of a lack of clarity in the rules concerning permitted engine developments, the BBC reported.
