Amy Winehouse leaves Mobo dressing room in a mess

London, Sept 21 : It seems that Amy Winehouse did not have the stomach for the huge amount of food and booze she ordered at the MOBO awards recently.

At the event the ‘Rehab’ star asked for two bottles of Rioja, two cases of 24-pack Heineken, one large bottle of vodka, two bottles of champagne (chilled with flutes) and two bottles of Jack Daniels.

The soul star, who won the best UK female artist at the awards, had a problem taking in the food and alcohol, and her dressing room was left in a mess.

BBC not to telecast George Michael’s HIV interview

London, September 21 : Pop star George Michael has requested the BBC not to broadcast the interview in which he discusses his fears of having HIV.

The channel has confirmed that the interview will not be included in the documentary ‘Stephen Fry: HIV and Me’.

Michael’s fears were fuelled when his Anselmo Feleppa died of an Aids-related illness in 1995.

"On reflection, he felt it was too close and too personal a journey. It was too personal for Anselmo's family to revisit," the BBC quoted a spokesman for the singer as saying.

Roger Daltrey to headline 10th Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp

London, September 21: Roger Daltrey from ‘The Who’ and Joe Walsh from ‘The Eagles' will be among renowned rock stars who will perform at the 10th Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas in November.

The Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp brings music lovers an opportunity to jam and record with their favourite rock stars.

"Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp reminds me of what it used to be like when we first started, when we were rough and ready... it's fantastic," the BBC quoted Daltrey as saying.

Cheryl Cole dismisses split from ‘Girls Aloud’ rumours

London, Sept 21: ‘Girls Aloud’ singer Cheryl Cole has rubbished all rumours about her quitting the band.

The entire buzz started when songwriter Alison Clarkson, formerly known as Betty Boo, claimed in a radio interview that she was asked to pen a song for Cheryl because she wanted to have a solo career.

“I’ve been asked to write for Cheryl because she’s gonna start on her own, I think, because she asked for me. We’ll see what happens,” the Sun quoted her, as saying.

Billie Piper rubbishes Doctor Who return rumours

Washington, Sept 21: Actress Billie Piper slammed all the rumors about her return to sci-fi series ‘Doctor Who’.

But she did say that she may make a surprise return to the show some day.

The actress left the show after 27 episodes acting as the doctor's assistant ‘Rose Tyler’.

"A friend of mine told me he'd read about that. It's news to me,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

London, Sept 21: Menopause may be a nightmare for women who experience hot flashes, but a new study has revealed that it also means– freeing women to be good grandmums.

Data from Africa reveals that menopause creates grandmums without young children and can increase the survival chances of their daughters' kids.

In the study, scientists have tried to find what advantage giving up reproducing could have.
