Sana'a, Yemen - A French Navy ship rescued around 100 African migrants, mostly Somalis, on a drifting boat in the Gulf of Aden on Saturday, a Yemeni coastguard source said.
The source told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa that the boat was 65 miles from the southern Yemeni port of Aden when it drifted after an engine failure.
A French frigate patrolling the area spotted the boat and rushed to its rescue.
Sana'a - A suicide bomber blew himself up on a road leading to Yemen's Sanaa International Airport as a convoy of South Korean police investigators and diplomats passed by on Wednesday, police officials said.
The attack took place as the convoy was leaving al-Dailami military base. The bomber, who was killed in the attack, had been waiting outside the gate of the base.

He was executed after the verdict sentencing him to death was read out by a judge at the prison's courtyard, the source added.
