Chargesheet filed against Amit Shah for hate speech

Muzaffarnagar, Sept 10 : The Uttar Pradesh Police has filed a chargesheet against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah based on a video in which he allegedly made a hate speech during the run up to the
2014 Lok Shabha elections.

Circle Officer Yogendra Singh said, "Amit Shah has been booked under the Sections 153,195, 295A and 505. The Sections have been decided based on the contents of the CD."

The BJP leader had during his speech made on April 4 reportedly said that it was time to seek revenge for the killings during the last year's riots in Muzaffarnagar. (ANI)

Her husband, Naresh Tyagi, 39, who hatched the plot to get Asha killed, isn’t.

Naresh committed suicide on Thursday morning with a .315 bore country-made pistol after Asha, who was supposed to be dead, turned up at their home, police said.

Inferno engulfs chemical factory at Muzzaffarnagar

uttarpradesh-mapMuzaffarnagar, Dec 18 : A massive fire engulfed in a chemical factory here on Friday.

The fire broke out at Magna Industries located in Mansoorpur industrial area of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, at around 6.30 in the morning.

The fire is said to have started because of a sudden blast in the factory.

"This is a chemical factory and it had caught fire this morning. Three of its employees suffered burns. Three fire vehicles are engaged here and the fire is somewhat under control now," said D. K. Kain, Superintendent of Police (SP), Muzaffarnagar.

Tikait dares Mayawati to arrest him

Bharatiya Kisan Union Chief Mahendra Singh TikaitSisoli (Muzaffarnagar)/Kochi, Apr 1: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Chief Mahendra Singh Tikait has dared Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati to arrest him for derogatory remarks made by him.

"I am sitting here and appealing for peace. I asked supporters to stay back. I will go and court arrest and finish off the issue. They are not agreeing, what can I do?," said Tikait.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has condemned the police firing in Sisoli.
