Meryl Streep slams ageist HollywoodLondon, January 18: Oscar-winner Meryl Streep has slammed show business for its prejudice against those beginning to wrinkle.

The actress revealed that she had herself encountered ageism in the industry but would continue to challenge the discrimination.

"Of course there is ageism in the film industry. There''s discrimination in every profession," the Telegraph quoted her as saying at the London opening of her new film, `Doubt'.

"Look around the room. There are a lot of young women here who are journalists, but do you see any women my age? No.
