Gilani says reforms package not aimed at instigating a clash with MusharrafLahore, May 26 : Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s proposed Constitutional reforms package is not aimed at initiating a clash with President Pervez Musharraf, but rather at restoring the balance of power by giving parliament more authority.

The Daily Times quoted Gilani as saying that the 1973 Constitution at present was neither in a parliamentary nor in a presidential form due to the amendments made to it over the past nine years.
