New Delhi - Uncertainty over the US 700-billion-dollar bailout plan pulled down Indian shares Friday with the two main stock market indices showing a drop of more than 2 per cent.
Paris, September 26: The integration of all instruments on the Indian Space Agency’s Chandrayaan-1, India’s first mission to the Moon, is now complete and validation tests to check the functionality of the spacecraft and the suite of instruments are underway.

Brussels - Global warming, global security and the global financial crisis are set to top the agenda when the European Union and India hold their annual summit in Marseille, France on Monday.
According to the French government, which currently holds the EU's rotating presidency, the summit is set to agree an "action plan" on cooperation in peace and security issues, sustainable development, science and technology and "person-to-person contacts".
