The James Bond films, which have a major fan following in India, is for the first time releasing its latest "Quantum Of Solace " in India on Nov 7,before its schedule release in North America on Nov 14.
The film will be released on 700 prints and dubbed in regional languages like Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
According to Managing Director of Sony Pictures Releasing India, Kercy Daruwala "James Bond has a huge equity in this country, and Bond films have already been a hit here.......this could be the biggest Hollywood Release of the year here ".
Washington - The US Senate overwhelmingly approved an agreement on Wednesday allowing the United States to sell civilian nuclear technology and material to India, green-lighting the landmark accord for President George W Bush's signature.
The Senate voted 86-13 on the nuclear sharing agreement, reversing more than 30 years of US policy in exchange for international inspections of India's civilian nuclear energy programme. The House of Representatives passed the measure in a 298-117 vote on Saturday.
New Delhi - One person was killed and 50 injured in serial bomb blasts in Agartala, capital of the north-eastern Indian state of Tripura on Wednesday, news reports said.
Four blasts occurred in the space of about 45 minutes in busy areas of the city, including markets and bus stops within a two-kilometre radius, Times Now television reported.
All the blasts were of low intensity, local police official Shreeyash (Eds: one name only) was quoted as saying. He said a fifth bomb had been found and defused.
All the injured had been taken to hospital. Twenty of them were in critical condition, reports said.

New Delhi, Oct 1 : Defence Minister AK Antony today dismissed reports of differences between the Central government and the armed forces over the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission (CPC) on salaries of Armed Forces personnl. .
Antony disclosed that the government was ready to add Rs 6,000 crore as further commitment over and above the Pay Commission’s recommendations.
