Hyderabad, Mar 21 : Satyam Computer Services founder B. Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju and ex-Chief Financial Officer Vadlamani Srinivas were taken into custody for two more days by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday.

The XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate has granted permission to the CBI to keep the trio in custody for two more days.

The CBI has said that it wants to question the accused on new disclosures.

Hyderabad, Mar 21 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday expressed his confidence that Congress would win the coming elections in the state.

Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office in Hyderabad, Reddy said, "There is absolutely no anti-incumbency against our government because we have taken up unprecedented development. At the same time, we implemented massive welfare measures which left people with no complaints whatsoever against the government."

The scientists of INCOIS are providing the information through various mediums, which the fishermen can avail it easily.

Hyderabad, Mar. 20 : The Satyam board met on Friday to assess the proposals of the bidders for acquiring up to 51% stake in the embattled IT company, and discuss several other issues.

The Government-appointed company board has received several expressions of interest, including those from engineering major Larsen & Toubro, B K Modi-led Spice Group, software firm Tech Mahindra and iGate, a company official said after the meeting.

The winning bidder can acquire up to 31% stake in the company.

To aid telecommunication market in India, Ericsson, Swedish telecom equipment giant, has come up with its new energy-efficient and cheap radio base station site concept, called Ericsson Tower Tube in Hyderabad.

Speaking on this, Mr. P Balaji, vice-president (marketing and strategy), Ericsson India, said, “The company has set up a prototype of the Tower Tube at Ibrahimpatnam near Hyderabad and would decide about the location of the production facility depending on the customers it would get.”

Hyderabad, March 19: A Hyderabad City Court on Thursday, will hear a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) petition that seeks two more days of custody of former Satyam Computers Chairman Ramalinga Raju and four other accused.

The CBI had requested custody for another two days on Tuesday after keeping all five in custody for seven days from March 10.
