New Delhi, Dec 8 : A passionate buss from boyfriend turned into “the kiss of deaf” for a young lady – as the smooch ruptured her eardrum.

The 20-something girl from Zhuhai, Guangdong province, reported to hospital completely deaf in her left ear soon after the painful pucker, reports China Daily

And according to Dr Li, an ear specialist, from Zhuhai Second People''s Hospital, it would take at least two months for the girl’s hearing to return to normal.

Taipei  - Taiwan and China are making preparations to launch direct shipping next week, ending the five-decade ban imposed by Taipei in 1949 at the end of the Chinese civil war, harbour officials and media reports said Monday.

The Transport Ministry said that it would announce details of the launch after the parliament passes the pact on direct shipping, signed in Taipei on November 4.

According to the pact, direct shipping should start on December 15.
