Amethi, Apr 21: Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday said that her family has no ‘hatred or anger’ against killers of her father and late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Priyanka also downplayed the controversial comments of Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M. Karunanidhi that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) supremo V. Prabhakaran is not a terrorist.

Amethi, Apr 20: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the daughter of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, on Monday defended the Congress’ decision to go alone in Uttar Pradesh in ongoing general elections.
Priyanka termed the decision of the Congress as an opportunity to strengthen the United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
“This is a good opportunity for the UPA because we are going alone in elections. I think it’s a good opportunity now rather than two years ago,” Priyanka said while addressing an election rally here.
Amethi, Apr 13: Priyanka Gandhi on Monday accused the Mayawati- led Uttar Pradesh Government for creating impediments in the developmental works in Amethi, which is represented in Parliament by her brother Rahul Gandhi.
"A non-Congress government in Uttar Pradesh or at the Centre has always tried to create hurdles in executing development works. For instance, the Uttar Pradesh Government did its best to halt the proposed Rail Coach Factory project in Rai Bareli," she said while addressing an election rally here.
Amethi, Apr 12 : Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday gave some indications of possibility of her brother and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi becoming Prime Minister one day.
"I have full faith in my brother. He is hardworking. He is, according to me, qualified for the post. So, one day he will. He will do a good job of it," she told reporters while campaigning for Rahul Gandhi in Amethi parliamentary constituency.
Priyanka, however, added that Manmohan Singh would assume the post, if Congress comes back to power.
Amethi, Apr 4: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Saturday filed his nomination papers from Amethi parliamentary constituency for the Lok Sabha elections.
Rahul was accompanied by his mother Sonia Gandhi, party candidate from Sultanpur Dr. Sanjay Singh and close family friend Captain Satish Sharma.
UPCC president Reeta Bahuguna Joshi was already present at the collectorate.
Rahul''s sister Priyanka Vadra and his brother-in-law Robert Vadra was not present because of death of Vadra''s father on Friday.
