PML-N and PPP on road to reconciliation, may form government in Punjab again

Former Punjab Law Minister, Rana SanaullahLahore, Mar. 22 : The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) may again join hands to form a coalition government in Punjab.

"After the restoration of deposed judges our confidence in the Prime Minister has improved immensely and we don't see any problem if he wants the PML-N to again join hands with his party in Punjab," former Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah said.

He expressed hope that the scheduled meeting of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani with the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif would bear positive result for the country's politics.

Sanaullah commended the work done by Gilani during the crisis saying: "The Prime Minister had a reconciliatory approach and his role during the crisis remained highly appreciable."

He, however, charged Punjab Governor Salman Taseer of towing a different line than that of his party.

"We see Governor Salmaan Taseer a main irritant in future PPP-PML-N alliance. Taseer is still taking a different stance and the PML-N knows it is not the PPP's line," Dawn qouted Sanaullah, as saying. (ANI)
