Gilani calls for improved trade and tourism between Muzaffarabad and Srinagar

Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza GilaniMuzaffarabad, Apr 30 : Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that trade and tourism between Muzaffarabad and Srinagar should start so that Kashmiris on either side can avail of opportunities to sit and interact with each other.

Pak PM says his country accords high priority to relations with China

Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani & Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi,Islamabad, Apr 26 : Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani on Saturday said that his country accords high priority to its close relationship with China.

Talking to  Gilani said Pakistan and China enjoy a broad-based relationship and the two countries were actively cooperating in political, diplomatic, economic and defence fields.

He further said that China was Pakistan's strategic partner and a time-tested friend.

Gilani has no problem with President Musharraf

Gilani allows Afghanistan to import wheat from India via Pakistan

Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza GillaniIslamabad, Apr 24: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani has allowed Afghanistan to import wheat from India through Pakistan, the country’s Food and Agriculture Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan announced Wednesday in the National Assembly.

He said the PM had permitted the imports after Kabul requested permission from Islamabad in this regard, reported the Daily Times.
