Macca still feels ‘tinge of sadness’ at first wife Linda’s deathLondon, Jan 29 : Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he wakes up every morning feeling a `tinge of sadness' after the death of his first wife Linda.

Currently, the former Beatles legend is dating American socialite Nancy Shevell after a messy public divorce with second wife Heather Mills in 2008.

However, Macca still misses Linda, who died of cancer in 1998.

McCartney said that he tries to think about the couple''s happy memories to overcome the pain.

The ex-Beatle said his emotions over the break-up came out while recording latest album `Electric Arguments' as part of duo The Fireman.

"Love and light is mentioned a lot on the album. Parts of it are dark and edgy," The Sun quoted him as saying.

Lynch revealed he intended to create awareness about transcendental meditation, especially amongst children.

The former Beatle, who divorced Mills in March last year (08), has been dating New York socialite Nancy Shevell since 2007, and his ex insists she doesn''t have a bad word to say about the woman who has replaced her in the rocker''s affections.

The former glamour model, who was awarded 24.3 million pounds last March, has a five-year-old daughter Beatrice from Macca.

Mills says that Manhattan men are always attracted to her despite her more stunning girlfriends being around.

“I’ve got so many stunning girlfriends who can''t get a boyfriend,” the New York Post quoted her as saying.

“But when I go out here, I get asked out all the time, and my girlfriends - who are better looking than me - say, ‘How the hell does that happen?!’
