FICCI Ladies Organisation presents women excellence awardsNew Delhi, Apr 28: Bollywood actor Sharmila Tagore and media personality Anurradha Prasad were among the recipients of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) women excellence awards from Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit on Tuesday.

The FLO presented awards to 25 women achievers from diverse fields like art, business and entrepreneurs, public service, non-governmental organisations and professionals.

India International Centre (IIC) Chairman Karan Singh and Bollywood Director and filmmaker Yash Chopra were also present during the occasion.

“Children are the future of India and as UNICEF’S Goodwill Ambassador. I have pledged to speak up for the cause of children whenever and wherever it is necessary. I am participating in this marathon to support HEAL, a project run by Rahul Bose’s NGO,” said Sharmila in a statement.
