Karachi [Pakistan], Oct.22 : Pakistan's out-of-favour opener Ahmed Shehzad has picked legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram as his all-time favourite cricketer and former T20 skipper Shahid Afridi as his favourite all-rounder.

Shehzad's comments came in his engaging session with fans on micro blogging website Twitter. He revealed his likes and dislikes about various issues, including favourite actor, first crush, favourite football club etc.

When asked about his favourite football club, the 24-year-old replied it to be English club Manchester United, the Dawn reported.

Answering the most debatable question of football arena , that who is his favourite footballer Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, Shahzad weighed in with his opinion for the Real Madrid star striker.

Karachi, Feb 13 - Pakistan flamboyant all-rounder Shahid Afridi, along with seven other teammates have been fined for violating a team curfew ahead of their much-anticipated World Cup opener against arch-rivals India on Sunday.

According to the Dawn, eight of the Pakistan players, which also included former captain Shahid Afridi and opener Ahmed Shehzad, were fined 300 Australian dollars after they came late to their Sydney hotel.

Headed by former military officer Naveed Cheema, Pakistan team management claimed that players went with their friends for dinner but came back late.

Moreover, a warning has also been issued for players as a repeat offense would pave their way for an early exit from the sport's pinnacle tournament.

Karachi, Jan 21 - Pakistan's veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi admitted that he would like to eclipse the record set forth by the swashbuckling South African skipper AB de Villiers, who hit the fastest one-day international century off just 31 deliveries.

Afridi held the record of the fastest one-day hundred for nearly 17 years after hammering 102 off 37 balls against Sri Lanka in Nairobi.

The veteran all-rounder said that one doesn't plan out to set such records, adding that it happens when one has a very special day and confidence is sky high, the Dawn reported.
