New York, April 4 : Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin''s family is once again in the news for non-political reasons, for her sister-in-law Diana was arrested on Thursday for allegedly burgling a house.

According to reports, Diana Palin even brought her 4-year-old daughter along for the heists.

Alaskan newspaper the Anchorage Daily News says that Diana was caught by the homeowner, Theodore Turcott, who was hiding in his bathroom with a gun.

Washington, Apr 4 : Bristol Palin''s former fiancé and babydaddy Levi Johnston has revealed that Sarah Palin knew he and her daughter were having sex when they lived under her roof.

In a show airing April 6, Johnston tells Tyra Banks: "I''m pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart."

While on the show, Levi talked about his sex life on national television, reports People.

However, the show hasn't been received well by the Palin household.

Washington, Mar. 30 : Former Republican presidential candidate and Arizona Senator John McCain has said that he would like to see Alaska Governor Sarah Palin compete in the 2012 presidential elections, but chose to avoid making a comment on whether he would support her or not.

When NBC's Meet the Press anchor David Gregory asked McCain if he would like to see Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin become president, he was quoted by Politico as saying: "I'd like to see her compete. I think we got some very good candidates."

Washington, Mar 21: Ex-vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has criticised President Barack Obama for the Special Olympics joke he made on a US chat show.

"I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics," Us magazine quoted Palin, whose son Trig was born with Down syndrome last year, as saying.

"This was a degrading remark about our world''s most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world,” she said.

Washington, Mar. 21: Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, a mother to a child with Down''s Syndrome, has expressed her shock over President Obama’s comment about the Special Olympics on "The Tonight Show."

Obama joked his last bowling score was so low "it was like the Special Olympics, or something."

"I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics," Governor Palin said in statement released Friday.

Washington, Mar 18 : The two Republican congressional committees have announced that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would speak at a June joint fundraising dinner, one of the biggest Republican gatherings of the year, but she has still not confirmed her participation for the event.

Palin's spokesman said that congressional Republicans were mistaken in announcing the governor would headline the Republican gatherings of the year, the Senate-House dinner in Washington, D. C.
