Juneau (Alaska, US), Jan. 28 : With her eyes firmly set on launching a presidential bid in 2012, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has created a political action committee, SarahPAC.

PACs are groups - regulated by federal law -- that use donations to influence elections. The basic rules are that donors may contribute up to 5,000 dollars per PAC per year.

Washington, Jan 25 : A Sarah Palin supporter won an eBay auction to own a mannequin of the Alaska governor, only to find out that the look-alike statue was actually an effigy that was hung by a noose in front of a West Hollywood home last Halloween.

The Los Angeles Times has revealed that the buyer quoted a 2,247.22 dollars price for the mannequin in the auction that ended January 22.

New York, January 24 : Approximately 180,000-dollar worth of clothing Alaska Governor Sarah Palin wore during her vice-presidential bid last year is, reportedly, stuffed in trash bags at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington D. C.

It is said that Palin had given the clothes to the RNC so that they would donate the wardrobe.

However, according to reports, the clothes still remain in garbage bags kept at the RNC headquarters.

Washington, Jan 23 : Many must have thought that Sarah Palin has gone into oblivion after losing her bid to vice-presidency, but that's not the case, for very soon the lady might be seen on a book cover or television screen.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the former GOP vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor is either thinking of penning a book or appearing on TV.

Palin has "apparently" retained Robert Barnett, a well-known D. C.-based attorney who brokered book deals for President Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Washington, January 14 : Alaska Governor Sarah Palin might have been unsuccessful as the Republican vice-presidential candidate in the 2008 U. S. election, but still continues to attract criticism as well as admiration.

The media is so fascinated with Palin that there is no sign of letting up when it comes to covering any conversation about her, even as her opponents prepare to enter the White House.

Washington, Jan 9 : Alaska Governor Sarah Palin believes that there is partiality in the way the media treats her and that she has become a victim of unfair press coverage.

Palin added that it is not only her but her family also that is being unfairly scrutinised by the media.

"Is it political? Is it sexism?" Politico. com quoted Palin as asking.

"What is it that drives someone to believe the worst and perpetuate the worst in terms of gossip and lies?" she questioned.

Palin said that she is very much interested in seeing whether Caroline Kennedy is handled as harshly as she had been, which would prove her belief that there is a class discrimination going on.
