TVS Motors, the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has finally rolled out its new stylish and futuristic 'Scotty Streak' in the domestic market. The company's latest scooterette targets girls in 16 to 20 age group.
The newly introduced 90 cc Scotty Streak, comes with sharp head lamps, LED tail-lamps, broad anti-skid tyres, and external fuel fill at the rear.
The company claims that bike is fitted with LiTech engine, which makes it lighter than comparative models of other manufacturers.
Pattaya, Feb. 15 : Indian tennis star Sania Mirza fine run at the Pattaya Open ended on Sunday after she was defeated by the Russian top seed Vera Zvonareva in straight sets 5-7, 1-6.
The match, which lasted an hour and seventeen minutes, saw Mirza putting -up a brave fight before losing to world number five Zvonareva.
The first set was fiercely fought between both players, but Mirza's several unforced errors ruined her efforts.
Bangkok, Feb 14, : Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza on Saturday entered into the finals of Pattaya Open, defeating Slovakian Magdalena Rybarikova 6-4 5-7 6-1.
The unseeded Indian took two hours to win the encounter and enter the finals of 2,20,000 dollar Pattaya Open.
Sania broke eighth seeded Rybarikova in the fourth game of deciding third set to give herself a 3-1 lead. She converted first of the three breakpoints, which she earned after the Slovakian double faulted.
Ranked 126th in WTA charts, Sania became the first Indian player to win a WTA title when she won the Hyderabad Open in 2005.
Hyderabad, Feb. 3 : Having brought a big wave of cheer for all sports lovers and her fans in India by becoming the first Indian woman to win a senior grand slam title along with partner Mahesh Bhupathi at the Australian Open mixed doubles, Sania Mirza appears to be on the cloud nine.
While addressing a news conference in Hyderabad on Tuesday, the tennis sensation expressed her happiness over the recent triumph.
Mumbai, Feb 2 : The winning duo of Australian Mixed doubles title Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza arrived at the Airport here on Monday.
"It''s a great way to comeback. It is my first tournament of the year and many more to go ahead. So I am just going to be happy with wining this grand slam and will see from here," said Sania Mirza.
When asked whether both will continue to play such mixed doubles tournament in future, pat came the reply from Mahesh Bhupathi, "yes definitely".
