Saif Ali KhanNew Delhi: After a disappointing run of his last few releases, Saif Ali Khan says he now wants to focus on making films that match his sensibilities.

The 44-year-old actor, who last worked in much criticised multi-starrer comedy 'Humshakals', says he would like to go back to making movies like 'Omkara' and 'Parineeta' again.

"I feel I lost touch with myself in recent times and I don't know why. I was listening to other people's conviction. I feel, it's the time to do what I believe in and stick to my conviction and sensibilities whether I do films like 'Parineeta', 'Omkara' or 'Hum Tum'.

"I haven`t seen the film (Humshakals) yet. Of course he made a mistake and he feels that, because people don`t like to see him in that space as he has given such wonderful performances in films like `Omkara`, `Parineeta` and others. He has done films that have been path breaking. Saif is one actor who has taken cinema ahead," Kareena said.

When asked what was Kareena's reaction to his look, he said: "Kareena is amazingly sporty... she laughed looking at me. Had I been in her place I would have filed for divorce. She found my chest too large (laughs)."

Saif experiments with Gujarati accent in 'Humshakals'

Saif-Ali-KhanMumbai, April 28 : Saif Ali Khan, who played a Gujarati boy in "Kal Ho Na Ho", will again experiment with the Gujarati accent in "Humshakals".

The actor will not only be seen speaking in Gujarati, but he has also decided to add a comic twist in the film, said a source.

"Saif had to learn Gujarati a little more fluently, and since it is not that difficult a task, he started to talk to everyone on the sets in Gujarati," said the source close to the production team.

The 43-year-old has daughter Sara and son Ibrahim from his ex-wife and actress Amitra Singh. The two got divorced in 2004, after 13 years of marriage.

“Sara and I are like good friends. Ibrahim loves to play cricket. Both of us play sports together. But I don't get much time to spend with him, but I would like to,” said Saif, who is now married to actress Kareena Kapoor.

"'Happy Ending' is a romantic comedy film. She (Kareena Kapoor) has done a scene in the film, which is against (her) type. It's something you guys must not have expected, you all will be surprised," Saif told reporters here.

During a conversation on TV chat show "The Front Row", host Anupama Chopra asked Saif about a statement that he and his now wife Kareena Kapoor gave before marriage - about a commitment that there won’t be any kissing onscreen for either of them.

Chopra asked Saif if there are any other rules as actors that the couple has imposed on each other.

The film is to be written by Hussain Zaidi, a prominent crime writer whose scrupulously researched books have earlier been the basis of Anurag Kashyap's "Black Friday" and Sanjay Gupta's "Shootout At Wadala".
