London, Apr 28 : Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson has revealed that he ventured into acting to land pretty girls.

Rob revealed that it was his father who pushed him to try his hand at London''s Barnes Theatre Company - so he could hang out with girls.

"My dad saw a bunch of pretty girls who were going to it. (He) said: ''Hey Rob, you''ve got to go to that.'' That''s the reason I still do it!" The Daily Star quoted Rob, as saying.

Washington, Apr 25: He has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame, courtesy `Twilight'. However, Robert Pattinson insists that fame and fortune has left his romantic life dry.

Pattinson says the constant interest in his life has made him a "paranoid wreck", reports Contactmusic.

He admits to Entertainment Tonight, "I''m always really worried about ruining their (girlfriends) lives.

"Especially with people that aren''t famous. It''s such a massive change. I''m kind of a paranoid wreck.

Washington, Apr 24: Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson finds reports about a romance between him and his Twilight co-actor Kirsten Stewart “bizarre”.

Robert said he finds it amusing when tabloids keep on alleging that he is dating Kirsten.

London, April 21 : Robert Pattinson has revealed he was bullied at school and the classroom horrors had left him marred for life.

The Twilight actor revealed his being an easy target while attending school in London turned him into one rebellious student.

And the transition, in due course, led to his expulsion from the school.

"Someone stole my shoelaces once from my shoes. I still wear them and never put laces in them - they''re like my trademark shoes now!" the Daily Express quoted Pattinson as saying.

London, April 17 : Twilight star Robert Pattinson surely knows how to make women go weak in the knees. The actor has stripped off for his new movie `Little Ashes'.

The film is slated to release on May 8, reports the Sun.

`Little Ashes' tells the tale of the relationship between artist Salvador Dali, filmmaker Luis Bunuel and writer Federico Garcia Lorca.

In the movie, Pattinson is playing the surrealist painter, Matthew Mcnulty is portraying Bunuel and Javier Beltran is playing the Spanish poet.

London, Apr 16 : Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson's security has been trebled to protect him from besotted fans.

The 22-year-old actor had to call on extra security while filming Twilight sequel New Moon - as crowds inundated the set in Canada.

Pattinson is apparently deeply embarrassed and more than a little scared by the whole thing.

"It''s got to the point where security measures have had to be trebled to keep these people off the set," the Sun quoted a source as saying.
