Priyanka-ChopraNew Delhi, Dec 5 : Priyanka Chopra rarely comments on her love life. She says it has nothing to do with being "politically correct".

At the Agenda Aaj Tak Conclave here Thursday, Bollywood's eligible bachelorette was asked why she has never stood up and spoken out against dating rumours.

"It's not because I am being politically correct. It's just that I'm a private person," said the 31-year-old.

"I believe that I am putting 90 percent of myself and my family life out in front of the public, I have every right to keep 10 percent of it for myself," she added.

Priyanka on why she's absent from 'Gunday' teaser

Priyanka-ChopraMumbai, Nov 30 : Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is missing from the teaser of "Gunday", says it's obviously a promotional strategy for the movie. However, she guarantees that the theatrical trailer of the film will have much more.

"Obviously it's a promotional strategy. The film is 'Gunday' and the boys play 'Gunday' which is why the introduction for them was important," the 31-year-old said here Friday at a GUESS store where she was unveiled as the new GUESS girl.

Priyanka proud to represent Girl Up at UN dinner gala

Priyanka-ChopraMumbai, Nov 7 : Actress Priyanka Chopra has expressed happiness and gratitude for representing "Girl Up", a campaign by the United Nations Foundation, at the annual Global Leadership Dinner.

The actress took to Twitter to talk about the Wednesday dinner, an annual event attended by representatives of diplomatic, business, government, philanthropic, media, celebrity, and social sectors.

"So proud to represent 'Girl Up' at the UN global leaders gala... Met so many inspiring people who bring about so much change... Thank you," Priyanka posted on the microblogging site Thursday.

Priyanka-ChopraMumbai, Oct 29 : Actress Priyanka Chopra, who has a svelte figure, says she doesn't lead a healthy lifestyle but is fit.

"Nobody is perfect... I am impatient, restless and emotional. I take wrong decisions sometimes because of being emotional. I don't like early mornings. I don't have any schedule. I am fit but I am very unhealthy.

"I hate working out. Only I know how I am working out for (the film on) Mary Kom," Priyanka told reporters, referring to the upcoming movie on the award winning Indian woman boxer. (IANS)

Priyanka's 'Ram chahe leela' crosses one million hits

PriyankaMumbai, Oct 26 : Actress Priyanka Chopra seems to be on a roll with her latest “Ram Leela” item number "Ram chahe leela" crossing over one million hits in just three days. She says she is overwhelmed by the love and loyalty which her fans have bestowed upon her.

Priyanka took to Twitter to thank them for liking her new dance number in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directorial as well as her international single "Exotic".

She is also happy with the viewership of the trailer of her next film “Krrish 3” which releases Nov 1.

Priyanka's third song set for December release

Priyanka-ChopraMumbai, Oct 26 : Actress Priyanka Chopra, who turned singer a few months back with an international single "In my city", revealed that her third single is expected to release in December.

"We are working on my third single right now and that should come out by December. The vocals are done, we are just doing production. Right now, it's just me, it's a solo single," the 31-year-old said Friday here while celebrating the success of her second track "Exotic".

She sang "In My City" with US singer Will. i. am and worked with US rapper Pitbull for "Exotic".

Priyanka, who has been part of hit movies like "Don", "Agneepath" and "Barfi!" has replaced Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone in this year's McAfee's Most Dangerous Celebrity survey, said a statement.

According to the survey, cyber criminals use celebrities to take advantage of fans seeking more information about the stars.

The actress has never played any sport in her life, yet she is confident of playing a sportsperson in the film.

"I will try my best to play a sportsperson in the film. I will try my best to be as close to the boxer as I can. I will convince you as a boxer in the film," Priyanka said here in an interview.

"To learn a new sport and to get her body language, I don't know how am I going to do this. I have never played sports in my life. This is my hardest film," said Priyanka.

"The way I see it, it's a Chopra weekend. So go and enjoy the movies," Priyanka told reporters here Wednesday, while promoting Disney's animation film "Planes", for which she has lent her voice.

"She (Parineeti) is my family and she is my sister," she added.

The actress has been on a roll, courtesy the widely appreciated 2012 film "Barfi!", and for her international singles "In my city" and the recently-released "Exotic". She has also been busy working on the biopic on boxing Olympic medallist Mary Kom.

Despite her father's demise in June, Priyanka, a former beauty queen, returned to work at the earliest.

Priyanka Chopra visits Imphal for research

Priyanka-ChopraNew Delhi, July 16 : Priyanka Chopra, who is training for the Mary Kom biopic, was in Imphal to do research on her role as the boxing Olympic medallist.

Despite having a hectic schedule, Priyanka took time out and visited Kom and the place where the boxing champ practises.

"This was solely for a research for the film on Mary Kom," the 30-year-old said in a statement. "Omung Kumar (director of the film) and the team were given a warm welcome. It was wonderful as people of Manipur are known to be courteous," she added.

She hopes to visit the Manipur capital again.

Hope my foreign foray paves way for Indian singers: Priyanka

"We have such incredible talent in India when it comes to music, voices that I hope get the opportunity that I have got to foray (into the international market)... (and it) will pave a way for lot more Indian artists to come up," the

No extra muscles for Priyanka Chopra, says trainer

Priyanka-ChopraMumbai, July 10 : Actress Priyanka Chopra is training hard for the Mary Kom biopic, but her trainer says he doesn't want her to build extra muscles and ruin her femininity.

Priyanka, 30, plays the Olympic bronze medalist in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, being directed by Omung Kumar.

Physical trainer Samir Jaura, who is working with Priyanka to get the right look for the character, told IANS: "We are working on building her muscles, but I don't want her to build extra muscles. I want her curves to get the right look, and not ruin the femininity."
