London, Apr 3  English striker Peter Crouch, who vowed that he would never again perform his infamous robotic dancing in an England shirt, did it just four days after to break his Wembley promise.

Crouch completely forgot that vow after scoring his first goal for England against the Ukraine on Wednesday. He bagged the opener in the crucial 2-1 Wembley win and said: "I'm blaming Rio entirely for that goal celebration."

London, Mar 28 : Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch has revealed the inspiration behind his famous robot dance.

"I had to get my inspiration for the robot dance from somewhere, so C-3PO deserves the credit," Crouch said.

According to the Sun, Crouch said that he and his team-mates from England's Colney training camp, spend much of their time glued to portable DVD players.

"I am a massive Star Wars fan so I usually bring all the movies with me," he added.

London, Mar. 23: England and Portsmouth mid-fielder Peter Crouch has had worse days, but hours after netting a brace in Portsmouth’s win over Everton, he made it a hat-trick by taking gorgeous Abbey Clancy out for dinner.

The pair scored some posh nosh at the Zuma restaurant in London, reports The Sun.

Things, it seems, are going well both on and off the pitch for the former Liverpool shooter.

London  - Peter Crouch headed both goals as Portsmouth came from behind to beat Everton 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.

Leighton Baines gave Everton the lead in the fourth minute with a free-kick before Crouch levelled midway through the half and headed the winner from a corner with 15 minutes remaining.

The victory moves Portsmouth three points clear of the relegation zone and dents sixth-placed Everton's hopes of mounting a challenge for a Champions League place.
