London, Jan 23 : Lady GaGa wants to shake off comparisons with Madonna, as she aims to create her own image.

"It's not a bad comparison but I want to be respected as an artist in my own right," The Sun quoted Lady GaGa, as saying.

"Bowie, Prince and Grace Jones were all famous for their style and fashion, so I think it's a tradition pop stars should maintain," she added.

She also wants the world know that she believes in girl power, as she claims to be the voice of a new generation of Girl Power.

London, January 19 : Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, who has been banned from the UK for three years, is reportedly seeking the help of his friends to get back in.

He is said to have been trying to gain the support of heavyweight A-listers like Sir Paul McCartney, David Beckham, and Madonna.

"I love London and I'm desperate to come back. I've called David Beckham, Sir Paul McCartney, hell, I want to get the whole of the Beatles to help me get back in," the Mirror quoted him as saying.

London, Jan 19 : Queen of pop Madonna is receiving online death threats from fanatic Muslims for her commitment to Jewish Kaballah sect.

Fuming Muslims are leaving terrifying messages on websites calling to behead her.

Following the threats, the Material girl has stepped up her personal security as fears grow for her three children.

She has also hired two minders, who previously worked for the Israeli secret services, who have been at her side 24/7.

She has also boosting arrangements at her homes around the world, and is calling for her former husband, movie director Guy Ritchie, 40, to do the same at both his London pad and sprawling country mansion.

Washington, Jan 17 : A nude picture of Madonna taken in 1979, which was later published in Playboy, is set to go under the hammer.

The full-frontal photograph of the Material Girl will be put up for sale at Christie''s auction house in New York on February 12.

According to reports, the rare picture might rake in at least 10,000 dollars.

Matthieu Humery, head of Christie''s photography department, said the picture was taken when Madonna was a financially strapped 20-year-old dancer.

New York  - A nude picture of Madonna, taken when the queen of pop was a struggling dancer in New York in 1979, is expected to sell for at least 10,000 dollars, auction house Christie's said Friday.

Madonna received 25 dollars in payment for the modelling session, after answering a newspaper ad by photographer Lee Friedlander. The results of the session were published in Penthouse magazine in 1985.

London, Jan 16 : Queen of pop Madonna still manages to look half her age even at 50, and it is all thanks to the rigorous diet and exercise regime her personal trainer Tracy Anderson has put her on.

Madge follows a gruelling two-hour workout six days a week, and Anderson, 33, remains at her side every moment of it.

The trainer had been helping the singer maintain her health even when she was divorcing her hubby Guy Ritchie.

"There are days when she doesn't feel good and days when she's having a hard time, but Madonna still works out for two hours whatever," the Mirror quoted Anderson as saying.
