Washington, Feb 23 : Singer Dolly Parton has jumped to the defence of Jessica Simpson, who has been ridiculed by the media for her fuller figure and stage blunders. Simpson, 28, was criticised after she appeared looking curvier than her usual self, and after that for breaking down onstage while supporting Rascal Flatts in Michigan, forgetting her lyrics and eventually walking off in tears.

But Patron, who collaborated with Simpson on her country album Do You Know, is defending her fellow superstar, insisting that she has been victimised by the media.

Washington, Feb 16 : Jessica Simpson seemed to be in a pretty romantic mood while performing at the Valentine's Day show in Rochester, New York, as she kept on dedicating romantic ballads to her beau Tony Romo, who was in the audience.

The `Pray Out Loud' hitmaker had her eyes set on Tony, as she shouted I love You to him, while belting out hits after hits.

"This song''s for you, I love you," People magazine quoted Jessica, as telling Tony sitting in the audience.

Jessica clad in a black mini outfit belted out "You''re My Sunday" song, which she co-wrote for Tony.

"Somebody came into my life and made me see myself in the best mirror possible, so I wrote this song for her," she said.

Washington, Feb 14 : Pop singer Jessica Simpson has urged women, who have been victims of domestic violence, to leave their partners and build new lives for themselves.

Simpson has previously spoken out about the subject, hinting that she had suffered at the hands of a former lover.

She has even penned a song for her latest album, titled Remember That, about her own experiences with violence in the home.

She brought up the topic once more during her performance at New York''s Madison Square Garden.

The dress collection will feature a whopping 45 styles ranging in price from 108 dollars - 148 dollars, and is set to hit Macy''s and JessicaSimpsonCollection. com in March.

Washington, Feb 12 : Pop singer Jessica Simpson has hit back at the criticism surrounding her recent weight gain, insisting that she's happy the way she is.

In an interview to CBS'' The Early Show, the 28-year-old singer, even though not directly, talked about her much-scrutinized weight gain when the anchor mentioned all the support she's been receiving from fans.

"Honestly, I am right where I''m supposed to be. I am so happy," Usmagazine quoted Simpson as saying.

"Everything''s really great. It''s all about keeping the faith. That''s why I pray out loud," she added.
