Jessica Simpson’s advice to domestic abuse victims
Washington, Feb 14 : Pop singer Jessica Simpson has urged women, who have been victims of domestic violence, to leave their partners and build new lives for themselves.
Simpson has previously spoken out about the subject, hinting that she had suffered at the hands of a former lover.
She has even penned a song for her latest album, titled Remember That, about her own experiences with violence in the home.
She brought up the topic once more during her performance at New York''s Madison Square Garden.
"To any woman out there who is in an abusive relationship, let me tell you that each and every single woman, you can take your heart and run so far away and fall in love again, and that's the reason I recorded this song called Remember That," Contactmusic quoted her as telling the crowd. (ANI)
