London, Jan 20 : Scottish actor James McAvoy has slammed fellow fame-seeking thespians, insisting that stars who court fame are "not actors to me".

The 29-year-old actor says that he's disgusted when he sees fellow thespians spread over the pages of glossy magazines.

The Atonement star refuses to become a regular fixture on the Hollywood party circuit because he fears the public will become more interested his personal life than his acting ability.
