Presence of Slumdog Millionaire stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto in a jeweller's shop on Valentine’s Day has strengthened rumors of increasing closeness between the two stars.

Earlier their co-star Anil Kapoor revealed he could feel “the beginning of something exciting” between the two.

According to an onlooker, Dev and Frieda seemed completely smitten with each other.

London, February 21 : `Slumdog Millionaire' stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto have fuelled dating rumours after being spotted shopping for a ring on Valentine's Day.

The report comes after their co-star Anil Kapoor recently revealed he could feel "the beginning of something exciting" between the two.

The 18-year-old lad was seen taking his six-year-senior "lady love" to a High Street jeweller's on Oxford Street - and left without purchasing anything.

The Indian actress always vied for a little brother, and would tell her school friends that she had a brother whom her headmistress mother would keep locked away at home.

London, February 20: Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has revealed that even he feels that his `Slumdog Millionaire' co-stars Freida Pinto, 24, and Dev Patel, 18, are dating off-screen.

Rumours about Freida and Deve have been spreading ever since it was reported last month that the ex-model had dumped her fiance Rohan Antao.

Kapoor's comment on the speculation came when he appeared on a US radio station.

According to pals, Pinto tied the knot with her long-term lover Antao in secret before she hit the big time in the Oscar nominated flick.

The 24-year-old actress has made a point of not opening up about her private life in public and has not even responded to reports she and Antao have ever been an item.

However, she is alleged to have married Antao in Goa in December 2007.

London, Feb 18 : `Slumdog Millionaire' star Freida Pinto wants to be known for her acting skills, rather than " just a pretty face".

In an interview to Hello! magazine, the 24-year-old Mumbai girl said she is determined not to be typecast on account of her looks, and is eager to play challenging roles.

"I don''t want to be known as just a pretty face. I loved Charlize Theron in Monster. I want to play parts that are challenging and inspiring," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
