David BeckhamLondon, Dec 15 : Soccer ace David Beckham, who will be joining AC Milan club this week, will be staying in a fine-looking lavish 1000 pound a night suite in Chedi hotel.

The footballer was earlier supposed to move into a flat with his wife and kids in the city's red light district - but club officials did not agree to it.

The midfielder will be staying on the 10th floor palace as he is only in Milan on a three-month loan.

The suite boasts of a breath-taking view, a private terrace, but according to reports the 150 sq mt suite will be first checked by Beckham's security team.

David BeckhamLondon, Dec. 9 : Former England football star David Beckham has been grilled by police after his heavies roughed up a photographer who had been hounding him.

According to the Daily Express, photographers were following the former England skipper while he was driving with his family. Beckham slammed the brakes and marched up to the snapper''s car. When the photographer refused to get out, Beckham walked away, leaving his henchmen to take over.

The beefed-up bodyguards hauled the snapper from his car, wrestled him to the ground, put him in cuffs and dragged him along the road.

David BeckhamLondon, December 8 : David Beckham jumped off a 134 ft Auckland harbour bridge to dive into ice cold water beneath, according to an onlooker.

The ace footballer had reportedly stripped to the waist, donning just his jeans and trainers, before tying himself to a huge elastic rope.

The 33-year-old, who is said to have been a little weary before the leap, allegedly wanted to have a second go after taking the hair-raising plunge, reports the Sun.

Although Beckham failed to match the popularity from his last visit to New Zealand a year ago, when he drew the biggest crowd ever to watch a football match in the rugby-mad country.

Beckham fails to pull crowds in New Zealand Wellington  - A year after David Beckham drew the biggest crowd ever to watch a football match in New Zealand, his star power attraction appears to be fading, according to news reports Friday.

Organizers of an exhibition match between Beckham's LA Galaxy side and Oceania All Stars XI on Saturday in Auckland were advertising two tickets for the price of one to try to fill the 32,000-seat Mount Smart Stadium.

Only 14,000 tickets had been sold by Thursday night, the New Zealand Herald reported.
