Melbourne, November 9 : Daniel Craig has revealed that he was under immense pressure during the filming of latest James Bond flick, following the record-breaking success of ‘Casino Royale’ in 2006. 

The 40-year-old Brit, whose latest ‘Quantum of Solace’ broke box office records to take 4.9 million pounds in ticket sales on its opening day replacing former title holder ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, said his second appearance as the 007 agent was much ‘harder’.

“I don''t feel it was easier on this one - it felt harder,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

"The weight of expectation with this movie has been so great because there was such success with the last. 

London, November 6: Following the historic victory of Barack Obama in the US Presidential elections, Daniel Craig says the world should be prepared to see a ‘coloured 007’.

The 40-year-old, who was himself the target of much criticism for being the first ‘blonde Bond’, humoured the idea at a press conference before the Italian premier of his latest Bond film, ''Quantum of Solace''.

“After Barack Obama's victory I think we might have reached the moment for a coloured 007,” the Telegraph quoted him as telling the Agi news agency.

London, November 6: Daniel Craig had bacon sarnies brought in from the UK for breakfast while filming for his latest Bond film ‘Quantum of Solace’ in Italy, according to reports.

The 40-year-old, who was recently deemed as the ‘greatest’ 007 Agent by the producer of the series, Michael G. Wilson, is said to be crazy for bacon ‘sarnies’.

The sixth actor to portray the fictional secret agent Bond reportedly insisted on having English breakfast and had vans loaded with breakfast food sent from home.

Berlin - The new James Bond film, A Quantum of Solace, is action-packed and has no time for Miss Moneypenny and Q, but lead actor Daniel Craig said he could imagine the secretary and gadget genius making a return in the next adventure.

"I think we should reintroduce her again," the British actor told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa in Berlin Monday at the German premiere of the latest installment of Ian Fleming's Bond series.

A Quantum of Solace, directed by Marc Forster, is the continuation of Casino Royale, the first bond film with the 40-year-old Craig.

London, November 3: Bond star Daniel Craig might have ended up going to a university fulfilling his mum’s dreams had he not decided to pursue theatre.

The 40-year-old, who quit his A-levels aged 16 to attend a drama school, had been discouraged by his mum, Carol, who told the Brit that ‘qualifications on bits of paper’ would not make him an actor.

The 61-year-old Carol revealed that she respected and believed in her son’s capabilities, yet she couldn’t stop herself from worrying when he announced his acceptance into the National Youth Theatre .
