London, Jan. 14 : Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo believes his club -- Manchester United can complete an unprecedented Quadruple this season.

Ronaldo claims the club is capable of winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup AND the Carling Cup this season.

"It'll be very difficult but we will try. Why not? We want to win everything this season and I know it's possible because the team, spirit and desire is still the same," Ronaldo said.

London, Jan 14 : Ace Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has committed his long-term future to the club, despite continued efforts from Real Madrid to unsettle the newly-crowned World Player of the Year.

Ronaldo said he is staying at Old Trafford to help them dominate English and European football for the next five years.

Portugal star Ronaldo, 23, said it would start with United winning everything this season.

London, Jan 13 : Paying an emotional tribute to his teammates and family after winning World Player of the Year award, ace Ace Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo credited Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson with being behind his success.

Ronaldo became the first Premier League ace to win the award since its launch 18 years ago.

"Sir Alex has had an important role to play in my life. Last season was a great one for me, my club and the boss was important for me because I learned a lot from him," The Sun quoted Ronaldo, as saying.

On Monday the Manchester United striker was named the FIFA World Footballer of the Year 2008, beating Argentinean Lionel Messi and Spaniard Fernando Torres into second and third place.

For the 23-year-old Portuguese international striker, who made history by becoming the first Premier League player to win the award, the accolade is just the latest in a string of awards and honours that he has won in his career.

Zurich  - Manchester United's Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who last month won the European Footballer of the Year, was on Monday named FIFA World Footballer of the Year 2008.

Ronaldo, 23, who made history by becoming the first Premier League-based player to win the award, convincingly beat Argentine striker Lionel Messi in second place.

Third place in the voting conducted by national team coaches and captains went to Liverpool's Spanish striker Fernando Torres.
