Lahore, June 7 : The fundamental discrepancy the PML-N sees in the draft Constitutional package is PPP’s proposal to restore the deposed judiciary through a constitutional amendment, said a party spokesman here last evening.
He said his party could also not give indemnity to President Pervez Musharraf's unconstitutional acts because “such a step would pave the way for future adventurers”.
Because of such fundamental differences over the PPP's package of constitutional amendments, the PML-N has not accepted the draft in toto, said the spokesman.
