PPP admits harsh conditions may have hit Zardari’s mental health during incarceration

Asif Ali ZardariIslamabad, Sept 3: Amid news reports that PPP Co-chairman and presidential candidate Asif Ali Zardari was “mentally ill” due to the 11-year-long incarceration, his party sources have said that it was natural to have psychological impact on one’s mind after living in jail for 11 years.

They said that Zardari was kept in jail in the worst conditions for 11 years, and added that if anybody faced such conditions for only one month, it was bound to have an impact on his health.
