Washington, Feb 4 : Veteran actor Al Pacino has been roped in to play "King Lear" in the big screen adaptation of the Shakespeare play.

After the 2004 film "Merchant of Venice," which also starred Pacino as Shylock, director Michael Radford is geared up for his second Shakespearean foray.

London, January 23 : A company whose watch has been worn by Al Pacino in his film `Righteous Kill' has been sued by the producers, after it refused to pay money to advertise its timepiece on screen.

Bosses at the production house Millennium Films approached Los Angeles County Superior Court after the company refused to cough up money.

The producers claim that the watchmaker has failed to pay the arranged fee of 35,000 pounds to show a three-second close-up shot of one of their watches, reports the Daily Express.
