Pak Law Minister consolidates charge sheet against Musharraf

Pakistan's Law Minister Farooq H NaikLahore, Aug. 17 : Pakistan''s Law Minister Farooq H Naik is reported to have consolidated the charge sheet against President Pervez Musharraf and it is expected that the coalition leaders will take a decision on the document on Sunday,

Dawn News said that the charge sheet contains over 20 strongly worded allegations against the president. It further said that the impeachment charges include gross misconduct and violation of the constitution by the president.

Meanwhile, the government may consider giving amnesty to Musharraf if he resigns.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Ishaq Dar was quoted by a foreign news agency as saying: "If the president resigns, the coalition government will look into the (amnesty) subject." (ANI)
