Bangalore, Nov 13 - Leading Kolkata-based non-banking finance company Magma Fincorp Limited Saturday said it will disburse Rs. 246 crore in retail loans across Karnataka this fiscal.

"Our focus is on penetrating into rural and semi-urban markets for providing asset finance to the economically disenfranchised across the state," Magma vice-president Dhrubashish Bhattacharya said in a statement here.

San Francisco, Nov 13 - Facebook is set to announce a new email feature Monday that could challenge Gmail, Yahoo mail and Hotmail as the most popular online email services, according to news reports.

The service by the popular social networking company will for the first time allow the site's 500 million members to use "@facebook.com" addresses and will also be integrated with Microsoft's recently introduced Office online services.

The tech news blog TechCrunch, which first reported the development, said the Facebook service would be a full-featured email client.

Mumbai, Nov 13 - Anurag Basu had virtually gone missing after the debacle of "Kites". But the director has no plans of moving away from cinema -- he plans to make three films in 2011!

"I was supposed to do two films 'Silence' with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, and the film on Kishore Kumar in 2011. 'Silence' would've happened in 2010. It got pushed ahead because Imtiaz Ali's film 'Rock Star' with Ranbir got delayed. Now between 'Silence' and my Kishore Kumar biopic I am directing a third film. The details are now being worked out," said Anurag.
