Chennai, June 10 : Director K. V. Anand, basking in the glory of the record breaking box-office success of his latest venture "Ko", is all set to direct Junior NTR in a Telugu movie.

Sources close to Anand reveal that the director had a surprise visitor at his office recently. It was none other than southern films' frontline hero Junior NTR. The newly-wed actor, who had watched Anand's "Ko", kept talking about the film's finer points in detail.

New Delhi, June 10 : "Mai ka Laal" is a family show, says actor-comedian Jaaved Jaaffery, adding that the show will be dignified in contrast to some of the reality shows which have been criticised for vulgar and offensive content.

"It is not a spicy type. The show is for families who like clean and healthy entertainment. Not for people who like sensationalism, sexuality or vulgarity because my show won't have all of this," Jaaved told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

New Delhi, June 10 : Riding a Harley Davidson, wearing retro-styled printed shirts and playing a carefree person in "Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap" reminds Amitabh Bachchan of his college days.

The 68-year-old star is an alumnus of Delhi University's Kirori Mal College and just like any normal student, he too was into Elvis music, bunking classes and making an effort to impress the girls.

New Delhi, June 10 : Paying tributes to M. F. Husain, acclaimed composer A. R. Rahman says the ace painter will live through his creations.

"We'll miss ur wisdom and free spirit... You will live thru ur interpretation of life's colors... thru ur creations Hussain Saab.. peace and prayers (sic)," Rahman posted on his Twitter page.

Husain died in London Thursday at age 95.

Sadly, "Love Express" is an uninspired vehicle to accommodate new talents. Everyone connected with this rather touchingly disoriented low-budget romantic comedy set in 'speeding' train, is untried and eager to make an impression.

Kolkata, June 10 : The state-run Allahabad Bank has targeted a business growth of 24 percent during the current financial year 2011-12, a top bank official said here Friday.

The bank has also projected a business level of around Rs. 2,80,000 crore as in March 2012, chairman and managing director J. P Dua said in his address at the bank's ninth Annual General Meeting.

The bank plans to increase its presence abroad by opening more overseas branches, Dua said.
