Withthe advancement of technology, it can soon be expected that there is going to be the use of iPads and iPhones for the purpose of therapy. They are soon going to be used for the purpose of helping patients recover from their brain injuries.

It has been found according to a new research, that these new gadgets can aid the counteraction of memory and might even help in restoring people’s memory. They can help the patients in being able to complete their daily chorus like taking medicines and so on.

The research proved that those patients who were given the aid of these modern gadgets were able to keep good track of their treatment material and could get well sooner.

Occupational Therapy Professor, Belinda Carr said, “This means they can have difficulty remembering to do everyday things…they face reduced levels of independence because many can’t remember names and faces or directions”.

She further added, “That’s why we’ve found equipment like iPads, iPhonesand PDA’s make such a difference, because they help patients remember”.

There are so many medicines and treatment therapies that the families ofthese patients would spend on, just to see their loved one recover. This definitely worth a shot and seems to have the best of results.
