The National Aboriginal Islander Observance Committee will kick off their week-long event which promoted the health care for Aboriginals and the health care workers. The event will consist of events and activities that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Research at the UC Davis Cancer Center has published a way to eliminate sensitized muscle invasive bladder cancer cells by chemotherapy. Bladder cancer cells can also contain an increased production of microRNA which plays an important role in the deadliest types of cancers.

Cisplatin, a chemotherapy drug has been used to eliminate these types of cells. Patients with advanced bladder cancer have a survival rate of around 50%. Many studies have found that survival rates can improve if patients undergo chemotherapy.

South Korean electronics giant, Samsung has launched a new UK only 3D ad campaign to promote its Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone on rival Apple’s iPad tablet computer.

Samsung’ ad agency, Starcom claimed that it will be the first 3D ad campaign on iPads. The ads use a combination of lighting, shading, and motion effects to show the smartphoen from different angles.

The ads are being aired by a mobile ad network that reaches many of Apple’s mobile devices. Meanwhile, Apple has already sued Samsung claiming its line of Galaxy S devices is a copy of iPhone.

Leading handset maker, Nokia might not offer its N9 smartphone in the UK, when the Meego powered device is launched later in the year.

According to a new report, the UK is not among the list of countries that Nokia has asked its users to check for availability. Surprisingly, Italy, Spain, Germany and France are also not mentioned in the list.

“The N9 will begin shipping in 2011. We will share more information about the specific markets and the pricing closer to product availability,” said Nokia's communications manager, Mark Hindle.

The Black Ops' new Zombie map has appeared among the most viewed videos on popular video sharing site, YouTube in the week ending June 30.

Team Fortress 2's mad medic, which is being offered for free by the company, also appeared on the top as for most viewed video on the site. League of Legends was on the third spot ahead of the new Call of Duty trailer which took the forth position for the week.
