Software giant, Microsoft has announced a new feature for Xbox offering live TV to its millions of users around the world, at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3) event on Los Angeles on Monday.

The company will enter into partnerships with regional cable companies to offer live TV, indicating that the transmission will through cable and satellite companies and the users might have t sign up for a subscription service to use their console as a TV.

Phone maker, Motorola has announced its new WiMax-based Photon 4G smartphone for Sprint network at a media event in New York.

The Photon 4G features a 4.3-inch screen, dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 camera, 1 GB of RAM and 8 megapixel rear camera. The device will run Android 2.3 and will come with a kickstand.
