Mugdha Godse Gets A Hangover Of Her Role In 'Fashion'
Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming release 'Fashion', which strives to disclose the real world of glamour have three main characters played by Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse. While Priyanka and Kangana are tight lipped about the roles they portray in the movie, Mugdha has broken the ice by disclosing that her role demands usage of lot of foul language.
The actress on this commented, "I can't believe the lines I've said when the camera started rolling, words like 'jhandoo' and 'bangroo' are not something that form a part of my everyday vocabulary and here I am using them all so naturally". The actress also revealed that the Director's assistance in getting into the skin of the character helped her a lot.
Mugdha plays the role of an independent urban Indian woman named 'Janet' who lives the life of her choice. Janet is a model who is quite well versed with the fashion industry, holds 4-5 years experience and cannot tolerate any fresher who tries to act smart in this profession.
Its been approximately 8 months since she started shooting for the movie and asserts that she feels that she's been habituated of using some rough language in real life as well. She laughs while adding on, "My friends who have seen me grow up for so many years are aghast that how could I be using such language" but I have an excuse of endorsing the character and will get over it as soon as the film is released.
The rumours are in the air that Mugdha is playing the character inspired by the real life model Carol Gracias and also borrows an incident that took place while she was modeling on the ramp.It is only the release of the movie however, due to open in theatres on 29th October, that will reveal the truth.
