Various parties of Andhra Paradesh said that the entry of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi in the politics would hardly affect their prospectus in the state. Congress is expected to come back in power in the state on the issues of development of state in its tenure. It will aware people about its welfare schemes and innovative development schemes.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy while addressing a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party said that the actor there is no threat to congress party in the state. The state congress chief, D Srinivas said that the actor does not know the problems of common masses and he has failed to explain his stance on the Talangana issue.

The TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu also expressed such views and said that there was noting new in his maiden speech in Tirupati. The big supporter of separate Telanagana state and president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi, K Chandrasekhar Rao said that he can succeed if he support the demand of separate state.

The CPI (M) on the other hand acknowledged the effect of Chiranjeevi in the state politics. CPI (M) Secretary B V Raghavulu said the party would consider co-operating with his party "Praja Rajyam" after accessing his stance on key issues of federalism, Indo-US nuclear deal, communal politics and the need for forging a third alternative. BJP seems to co-operate with "Praja Rajyam". The party appreciated the stance of Chiranjeevi on Telangana issue.
