Nagarjuna Construction Bags Order Worth Rs 443 Crore

Hyderabad-based infrastructure major Nagarjuna Construction Company Nagarjuna Construction Bags Order Worth Rs 443 CroreLtd has secured four new orders worth Rs 443 crore from various firms.

The first order valued at Rs 107 crore has been secured by the company from the Superintending Engineer, Medium Irrigation Projects Circle, Bellampally, Adilabad (District) for Pranahitha - Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme. The project is scheduled to be completed in a period of 30 months.

The company has picked second order worth Rs 219 crore from the Chief Engineer, PHED, Jodhpur, Rajasthan for execution of works related to supply of water from Utned Sagar Clear Water Reservoir to 170 villages and 1 town. The order will be completed over a period of 75 months.

The third order valued at Rs 31.80 crore has been awarded by the Chief Engineer, MSRDC Ltd., Aurangabad for Design and construction of proposed ROB at Railway Km. 831/14-15 for crossing on Mumbai - Howrah Main Link of Central Railway Near Narendra nagar in Nagpur.

The company has bagged final order worth Rs 84.90 crore from National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh for construction of Hostel Buildings.

Third & fourth orders are scheduled to be completed over a period of 18 months.

IIFL has recommended buy rating on Nagarjuna Construction, with 12-month price target of Rs 210, in its report dated 1 August, 2008. The stock closed today at Rs 135 on BSE.
