Bombay Dyeing June quarter net loss at Rs 30.6 crore
Bombay Dyeing has reported that it has faced a huge loss in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2010-11. Wadia group firm Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company has declared its first quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11 and it is not so impressive. The net loss has overtaken last year’s loss record.
The company has posted a net loss of Rs 30.61 crore for this quarter under review.
The net loss of the firm was reported to be Rs 19.69 crore for the same quarter a year ago. Hence there has been a hike in the net loss of the firm in this time against last year’s record. Textiles and polyester is the main business of the company.
However, the net sales of the firm have gone up. For the reviewed quarter, it has increased Rs 428.4 crore during the April-June period of fiscal year 2010.
It was Rs 343.76 crore for the year ago period of time. It has been increased by 24.6% in this quarter.
