Diamond Power Infrastructure, a power transmission and distribution (T&D) company, has declared that it has pocketed order from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.

The scope of the order, which is valued at Rs 1.17 billion, includes the supply of different products.

The project is likely to be completed by the next 7 months.

Now, the company's order book stands at Rs 12.17 billion.

Formerly known as Diamond Cables Ltd, Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd's major activity is to make cables, conductors and sell outsourced products.

The Company is involved in the manufacture of LT electrical power cables, control and instrumentation cables, Aluminum Conductors Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and All Aluminum Alloy Conductors (AAAC).

At 12:11 p. m., the company's shares gained Rs 3.8, or 2.16%, to trade at Rs 179.90. The total volume of shares traded stood at 8,794 at the BSE. (With Inputs from Agencies)
