AltoAfter announcing a refresh for the much-popular, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, the company has now announced its plan to launch to a cheaper Alto in the Indian market.

Notably, after the company discontinued its iconic Maruti 800 from the 13 cities where the BSIV norms are applied, a striped down version of the Alto is expected to be a good option for the Indian consumer. It is believed that the new Alto will be in the showrooms within the next couple of months.
