Twenty-four injured in German train crash
Berlin - At least 24 people were injured when a regional train and a freight train collided in Berlin, German police said Friday.
The regional train, carrying 22 passengers, hit a slow-moving freight train carrying liquid gas at the Berlin-Karow train station late Thursday and was derailed by the impact, police said.
The injured were brought to nearby hospitals, five are in critical condition.
The cause of the accident remained unclear, police said. (dpa)
