Dennis Quaid to portray Bill Clinton in new HBO film
Washington, Mar 25 : Dennis Quaid is all set to play the role of former US President Bill Clinton in HBO's `The Special Relationship'.
The film will also see Michael Sheen portraying British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Julianne Moore enacting the role of ex-First Lady Hillary Clinton.
The movie is about the unique and sometimes turbulent political relationship between the newly installed British PM and the ex US President.
`Frost/Nixon' playwright Peter Morgan, who wrote the screenplay for the HBO venture, is expected to mark his directing debut with the film.
Sheen, who starred as David Frost in `Frost/Nixon', played Blair in the Morgan-scripted `The Deal' and `The Queen'.
Also, Helen McCrory, who played Cherie Blair in `The Queen', will reprise the same role in `The Special Relationship'.
Ann Wingate is the producer of the film, while Kathleen Kennedy and Morgan are exec producers, along with Andy Harries.
