Becks’ ‘healthy meals’ hit by recession
London, January 19 : As the world continues to drown in recession, David Beckham has become the latest victim of the economic slump.
The soccer ace has suffered a blow after his healthy meal manufacturer fell victim to the credit crunch.
Frozen food giant Findus had revealed having incurred major cash flow problems, reports the Sun.
And its major fan was now said to be on the look out for other manufacturers to provide the family favourites like fish fingers, pasta, wraps and omelettes.
Meanwhile, the midfielder, who is at present on a loan to AC Milan, insisted that he would return to LA Galaxy at the end of his two-month loan.
The 33-year-old was desperate to cling on to his England place, and dismissed new claims that he is set to make the move to the Italian giants permanently. (ANI)
